Took my car in for a standard state inspection because they were right down the road from my job. They advised I needed new brakes, rotors, and suspension control arms for over $1400 in repairs. I was shocked and advised I just had my brakes replaced less than a year ago so I find it surprising that I “need new brakes”... So then they said oh your back brakes “looked great” but the front ones need replacing. They “rejected” my car for the state inspection. I drove it straight over to my regular repair shop who looked at my brakes/suspension and confirmed they did not need to be replaced. I would not recommend going to this shop if you don’t want to be taken advantage of. I understand a state inspection doesn’t make you money, but I am seeing a trend of repair shops all advising brakes need to be replaced lately. Service: Brakes
