The visit was a pleasure, start to finish. Top shelf personnel and job performance all around. We came to your service department mid-afternoon last Friday with a slow air leak in a tire. The service department was very busy. I expected to make an appointment for tire repair. To make a long story short our vehicle had a brand new tire, covered by insurance, and we were on our way. Update to the review below: The Service Manager did reach out and call me 2 days after the incident (and after posting the initial review). He apologized for the incident and promised to make it right. He and I had a rather productive conversation about the service department and he said he was recently hired several months earlier and was working diligently on improving deficiencies he had identified. He asked what he needed to do to maintain my loyalty and I told him he and the department simply had to earn it. They made great strides today in doing so by replacing the windshield and providing the level of care and service at the dealership to which I had always been accustomed from start to finish of the transaction. I certainly hope it continues. The Service department in the past several years has steadily deteriorated in both the length of time to get appointments, the scheduling process and the quality of service provided. I have been to a lot of dealers and I cannot believe how good this dealership is. Freddie was great from the beginning and the tech posting the work video as is was being performed blew my mind. The updates via text and the overall experience with this dealership left me speechless. If you haven’t used Mercedes‑Benz of Chantilly I highly recommend you do.
