I was told that my truck needed a repair which it absolutely did not need. Rick claims that he made a mistake but in my opinion this is the worst mistake a shop can make. I hope I’m wrong, but in the end a lie is a lie, regardless of if it’s a mistake. Edit: The belt was obviously not damaged. To add to the issue, I was told that a turbocharger needed to be replaced, taking a $1600 job (later completed by the Ford dealer) to $2600. 5000 miles later and the old turbo is working just fine. Also, the alignment you did on my truck left the steering wheel misaligned. You cant argue with facts. I don’t leave bad reviews without good reason. You provided poor service.

Great shop. I haven’t needed a mechanic since moving to Utah, so when I picked up an old pickup that needed some work, I scoured the internet for mechanic reviews and Jerry Lambert came out on top. They do solid work, have excellent communication, and definitely aren't in the business of ripping people off. Their pricing is a smidge higher than other shops for some things, but not outrageously so. I’d rather pay a couple of bucks more for great work than get a bargain on shoddy work. They replaced my transfer case seal, front output shaft seal, trans pan gasket, ball joints, radiator hoses, tie rod ends, and a bunch of other stuff at a reasonable price and did excellent work. A few weeks after that, I started to think my transmission was on its way out, so I took it in expecting to need a rebuild. They ran diagnostics and tested everything saying the transmission is actually in fine shape. Could have just been a grounding issue but they replaced the ATF and filter at no charge and it's

I had an issue with brake noise on the front of my Turo rental. My air bnb was only 2 mi away from Jim Lamber automotive so called them to see if they could look at it. Keep in mind this was Fri afternoon and I fully expected to be told to come back Monday. But not the case. Extremely friendly and professional and got me taken care of quickly.
