Watauga Automotive

Took my Nissan Sentra to Watauga Automotive for a vibration happening while my car was idling. After paying them $1300 to repair my car still had the vibration. Andy told me they did not know what was wrong with it. Took it to Nissan who told me from day one that it was the mounts and the mounts that Watauga Automotive put in the car were inferior parts and not correct for the car. Nissan replaced the parts and fixed my car. Don't take your car here, period.

I brought my truck to this shop to diagnose an ac leak. They filled my ac with freon and told me they knew there was a significant leak but couldn’t find it so charged me $194 for the ac charge and sent me on my way. Gave it back to me the day after I took it to them, I would’ve waited if they’d said they needed more time to find the leak. I had someone else look at it and the leak was just spewing out of a valve on top, shouldn’t have been difficult for a mechanic to find. So I ended up paying them $194 to just fill up an ac we all knew would just leak out within 2 weeks. Service: Air conditioning

Watauga Automotive was incredible to work with. I had some car issues that needed to be fixed pretty urgently, and finding decent places in the area can be hard due to a lot of mechanics unfortunately being overpriced as is, but also overcharging or just being unreasonable to young women like myself that they assume don’t know much about cars anyways. I came in to Watauga Auto and they were the most kind, efficient, and fair people. I was in and out within an hour and their pricing was extremely reasonable. I am so thankful for their service this morning and i would highly recommend anyone to give them a visit if you’re having car issues. I’ll definitely be back in the future! Service: Battery
