I had a shifting mechanism problem on my Ranger, hands down the best vehicle I have owned, and took it to Snider since it is not far from where I live. I don't know a lot about automatic transmissions and understand it could be one or more of any number of things ranging from $ to $$$$$$. I called later. they said it was done and the price was $. They could easily charged much more, I wouldn't have known, and the transmission shifts like new. I recommend.

Why I choose Snider transmission. They say their is no such thing as an honest mechanic but I beg to differ. Many years ago my car wouldn’t accelerate. I thought my transmission went out. The guys at Snider filled up my fluid and said it was $10. All I had was a $20 bill and the man wouldn’t even take my money even after I said I’ll go next door and get change. Another time my truck wouldn’t move. I thought the transmission went out. I had it towed to Snider’s. Snider’s told me my brakes locked up because my master cylinder was bad. Snider didn’t charge me anything. My daughters car would start but it would not move. I tried drive and reverse. I had it towed to Snider’s. Snider’s called and said some of the readings were funny. I also mentioned the tow truck driver had to jump it off to get it on the tow truck. I asked if he thought I needed a new battery? Snider’s suggested we try a new battery. I bought a new battery and Snider’s installed it for free. Last week my daughters car stop

They are nice on the surface but its been about four months since I took my truck there and my transmission has started leaking and they will set up a payment plan "for you" and then charge you 130% interest on it. Do not recommend going here they will screw you
