Southwest Muffler & Brake

Got an estimate for 60" pipe, 1.5 hours $260. Next day went for job, they used 26" pipe, finished in 45 minutes and still charged $250. Instead of doing a complete pipe from the catalytic converter to new muffler, they used the exhaust pipe of old muffler, just attached to cat and to new muffler, a bit of a piece it together job, like Frankenstein. All to avoid having to reattach the new pipe back to frame. Asked about why being charged for the 1.5 hour labor his response was, "Well just because he finished in 45 minutes...." Response to charge regarding so much less pipe, he said minimum charge was 45". Then why didnt i leave with the pipe i paid for? You are just going to use the small pieces to piecemeal somebody elses stuff and charhe them for 45" too. They took short cuts to finish quicker and still charged as if they did the proper way. That's not how you do business, especially if you want repeat and referral business.

Won't take my car anywhere else. The men were very respectful to my husband and I. Got the job done and pricing was good.

Great service. The place was pretty busy when I came in on a Saturday but they were still able to get to my car pretty quickly, less then the estimated 2 hours, great service and friendly staff.
