Excellent experience.Professional, courteous, thorough, and impressive from the time you are greeted to the time of your departure. I will be using Space Center Automotive from this point forward. I highly recommend this shop for your automotive repair.

My wife took her car in to have some work done on it. While doing it they checked out the front brake pads and said they should be changed. They said the pads were low and maybe 1000 miles left on it. She opted to wait due to price. I checked the pad thickness and they were about 9mm thick. New pads are about 12mm thick. At 6mm to 4mm one would want to start considering getting them replaced. Are they deceptive? Trying to take advantage of a women? Or is the mechanic just that bad? Or just something else?

We have been using Space Center Automotive since 2007ish. They have always been the most expensive place to go, but you were in a clean facility, the people seemed reputable, they always stayed in contact, and estimates were fast and accurate. This time it was still very expensive, but we had a very hard time getting anyone to contact us or get on the phone for any information. It also FELT like they were trying to scam us, obviously we can't prove that, it's a feeling..... you should always go with your gut. We don't know if they are still owned by the same people, it does not feel like it, it just feels different and I doubt we will return.
