Poutous 1960 Auto Repair

My name is jose arriaga(TONY) I am from El Paso Tx., I used to work in this shop, back in the 90's . The best place to work, accurate repairs, no shortcuts, no overselling. family oriented ambient. My boss, i call him uncle gus, and mike. very professionals, friendly coworkers.

Our regular mechanic has changed ownership, and we had some concerns over service quality. Since Poutous is so close to us and the reviews were very good, we decided to give them a shot and see how the experience went. I left an appt request online, and they called to verify, which was nice. They kept our car overnight while they checked things out. (Basically it needed brake fluid replaced and checked for leaks in the coolant system) They called back with a quote for the work, and I told them OK. They had the car ready to go within their estimate. I put some cardboard down in the garage and after a week it didnt have a single drop on it, so I know they got the work done like they said. Will definitely return for future service needs. In addition, while their parking area is a bit cramped, their waiting area is huge, and well stocked so you'll be comfortable while you wait. The three gentlemen i spoke to while I was there were friendly and down to earth. Service: General repairs & main

I had a friend who took her car to this shop to fix her AC, and when she picked it up her inside door handle was broken. When she noticed the door handle was broken she called the next morning to inform one of the managers named J.P. that the handle was not in that condition before she took it to the shop. She then took the car in to see if they could fix it since it happened on their behalf, and after she dropped it off she got a call later that day saying she would have to pay half of the damage that they did to her vehicle since it was so to speak "only fair". Please make sure to check your vehicles before leaving this shop so you don't have the same issues.
