Concourse Automotive Service

I went to Concourse (without an appointment) after another car service center (**^*st*ne) convinced me that my brakes and rotors were all outta whack and gave me a laundry list of things to replace which they estimated to be almost $4000! I told the guys at Concourse my situation, (being a student on a limited budget) and they told me that they’ll check things out and let me know the most urgent service I’d need. They called by evening to tell me there was nothing wrong with my car! They could’ve easily agreed with the other guys and charged me for repairs that I didn’t need! But they were honest and they patiently explained things to me! They just got a loyal customer and an advocate for their services!

I cannot say enough good things about Concourse. I was put in such a difficult situation when my check engine light came on the same day I moved to Grapevine. I took it to a nearby AutoZone to check the code, and was told it is typically a $300 fix (code was p000a). I took it in to a Firestone, as that's who I had gone to in the past, and they agreed that if that was the issue it would be about $300-$400 to fix it. They proceeded to run their own diagnostics and called to tell me the whole system (both cam/crank pos sensors, VVT solenoid, and camshaft adjuster solenoid) needed to be replaced and it would cost me over $1,500. I decided to get a second opinion, and after reading a few great reviews from jeep owners I decided to give Concourse a try. They gave me a call the same day to tell me that the check engine light was triggered by gunk and that with the proper maintenance it should be nothing to worry about. My wife and I just moved to Texas and needed to find a good honest mechanic we could stick with for the future. We saw the high reviews and decided to try Concourse Automotive. We met with Brad who was very helpful and didn't try to sell us on something we didn't need. He was straight to the point and clear on what we needed. We plan on continuing to bring our vehicles here and I would recommend the same for anyone looking for a solid mechanic.
