This place is amazing! The owner helped me late on Saturday of a holiday weekend when he wasn’t technically working. As a single female traveler, I felt very comfortable in the shop with him as he checked the damage from a slight mishap on my car. I had The Misfortune of having my car basically fall apart and the Toyota dealership recommended Dennis at Pat's garage. I was able to come right over and he was able to look at my car immediately. This means a lot to me because I was set to leave the island tomorrow. So time was of the essence. I was scheduled to go back to town over 300 miles away the following day. Although he wasn't able to work on my car he took the time to explain to me what exactly was wrong and how to proceed. To say I was a bit leery of going to anyone on the island to seek auto repairs would be an understatement, seems that everything that once you get over the causeway goes up in price. Should I ever return to Galveston again and need auto repairs, I will guarantee you that I will use will promise you that I will definitely use Pat's because Dennis is very knowledgeable and also I feel fair and honest.
