Drove from Fayetteville, AR to the island and had some issues with my old 1998 GMC Sierra. Back brakes went bad and a manifold gasket blew out during the trip. When I first arrived in Galveston I went to an auto parts store and asked the clerk if he knew a good honest mechanic. As a single woman that knows nothing about cars that is always a concern. Without hesitation he said “call Dave at MMB”. He was 100% correct. MMB has worked on my 19 year old Saturn for the last 3 years. I take in a list of concerns and maintenance items and Dave addresses each one. During the test drive they perform he has identified additional items to be repaired (twice!) I knew the noises were not normal but didn’t know how to describe the issue - I figured it was just an old car noise. Dave is professional and friendly. He always takes time to explain what work needs to be done. The work is usually complete same day or by the next day if parts are needed and they have been able to quickly get my car in. Pricing is much more reasonable than the dealership. My experience with MMB has been excellent and I highly recommend them for repairs and maintenance.
