Took a chance on this business because the exterior didn’t have that corporate look and had good age to it. It appears I have stumbled on a local gem. Robert, the owner was there in person and was able to work me in on a busy Friday in addition to me being late when I came back for my appointment. The mechanics in the back do quality work, I was there for an alignment and found something wrong with my tire and explained and showed it to me. Didn’t charge for this and didn’t pressure me or “scare” me about it. Christian brothers wouldn’t even align my car and worked up a quote for over $1000 of repairs. Knapp auto is just down to earth, honest business, and reasonable pricing. So thankful for honest small businesses like this, hard to come by, and they tenderly care for older cars. Worst experience with an auto shop ever! Hello CarWash uses Knapp for their body shop repairs. Repair estimate was done in December 2020 and we are now in February 2021 and no repair has been done. Owner Robert never followed up in 2 months and no customer service when I showed in person 3 times to get a follow up, just a “what’s your number, I’ll give you a call later”. How hard can it be to get your hands on a top grill in Dallas TX haha wow! I guess it takes more than 2 months with Knapp. Good thing Hello CarWash is sending me to an actual body shop ????????
