Firestone Complete Auto Care

Took my truck in for repairs, acknowledged to the mechanics that something was wrong with my breaks. They twice released it to me stating no issues were discovered with my breaks. A few days later my breaks almost went out on the road do to their poor quality and knowledge of service. Will not be returning for service. Updated also on 6/30/23 breaks once again went out and Firestone refused to replace the parts that were under warranty that needed to be replaced again. They quoted they could not fix the truck and was probably not a good idea to try and continue to work on it since it’s been giving them issues. Clearly all the issues were never repaired or fixed from the beginning. Will never use FIRESTONE for repairs again. I lost my money and time with them.

the manager failed to informed me about a dangerous issue my vehicle was having till the next day when I called (after it had just been serviced w them). telling me it’d be in their shop an additional day & a half to fix the issue, plus $1600. The manger could only say “I’m sorry but I’m not held liable for that”. I wholeheartedly believe he lacks common sense. Due to his carelessness, I ended up losing my job as it was too many days I would have to take off. When I could’ve used my 2 off days (yesterday & today) to have it done realistically. I’d avoid this firestone at all cost. The prices are ridiculous compared to other mechanic shops. Also after performing an oil change on my truck for $150, the manager preceded to try to convince me to replace a gasket, for $500, that he said was leaking oil, when in reality the mechanic who performed the oil change had spilled oil all over my engine. This is not only completely unprofessional but also illegal under law. I have started using TJs Lube and the service is 1000% better and I don’t have to worry about crooked mechanics trying to trick me out of money for repairs that aren’t needed. Service: Oil change
