Thong's Auto Repair

Well I can't give them less than less than 2 stars because they didn't actually do any repairs on my car. I took my car to them when it broke down from some kind of transmission problem. They had it for a few days then told me that I needed to replace my transmission and it would be $1600 to do so. They couldn't tell me specifically what was wrong with it, just that I needed a new one. I immediately took it from them to a Ford dealership (should have immediately, just didn't think to at the time) for a second opinion. Turns out it was a common problem with my type of vehicle and got it fixed FOR FREE by them. I'm just really glad I didn't trust Thong's right off the bat, because I would be out $1600+ right now! Moral of this is to always get a second review. I don't know if they just honestly didn't know what the issue was and gave up, assuming it just had a bad transmission, or if they were trying to pull one over on me. But either way, they were wrong. That's why the low rating.

They did the job but the wait time was long. Took almost a week to get to the vehicle and quoted me an outrageous price for another service I needed, more than what the car was worth.

Wonderful mechanics but very unprofessional and different aspects never answer the phone but once again they are great mechanics if they implemented somebody in there who can manage the place I think that it would bring better customer service and better atmosphere
