Long...but compelled to tell my story. I'd give them 10 stars if I could! After dealing with a number of stressful events that had me feeling disheartened about humans in general, I dropped my car off last night at Zips Kar Kare to have the brakes checked. They had been making an intermittent grinding sound and not being very "car noise" savvy, was convinced I would be replacing them all. This morning I got a call from Zips and steeled my nerves for the verdict. "I can't find anything wrong with your brakes, m'am," he said. I asked him if he was sure. "Well, I looked at them, then took your car for a drive. I also had another mechanic take it for a spin just in case. In fact, we checked pretty much everything, but I can't find anything for you to spend your money on." I thanked him and told him I'd be in tonight to pick it up. I got there just before they closed, fully expecting to pay for their labor. The guy that runs the place, I think his name is Craig, wouldn't take my money. "M'a
