Have taken my 2009 Subaru Outback to Joseph several times. The main visit was for head gasket replacement and timing belt replacement. They quoted me a price before turning the first wrench. Not a cent over when finished. Joseph sent pictures during the job and a video when finished. Driven the car over 4000 miles since. No oil or coolant drips ever. If I could give them a 100/5 or an infinity/5, I most certainly would. This is my go to mechanic and as long as they are here, they will always be my only mechanic. As a female who is not an expert in cars; I always worry that I am going to be scammed and be none the wiser. At L Japan, I will never have that concern. You are not only told in very easy to understand language, but showed what is going on either through pictures or shown personally if you stayed in the waiting room. I brought my Honda in for a brake pad and brake rotor change as well as a routine oil change. I had been to a different mechanic and was told a list of things that needed to be fixed. I have been to mechanics where I was told something was wrong and urgently needed to be fixed, when in fact it was not an emergency. L Japan will never use these scare tactics. I leave knowing my car was in the best hands. If you have a conversation with them, you will find they are amazingly humble. You can tell just by talking
