My kids were 900 miles from home when the transmission failed due to the wrong axle being installed by a local shop before their trip. It destroyed the transmission seal. They happened to find Southwest Transmission. Joseph was able to quickly find the issue. The correct axle and seal would have taken days to arrive. He worked OT to find a seal that would work and get them home safely the next day. My kids received many comments from locals that they had picked the best shop around. Great work!

Honestly the worst experience I’ve ever had with any shop. Dropped the car off in April and was told it would be done in 10 days. When I called after the 10 days they hadn’t even touched the car and said they were finishing up other problems. Let them know I needed it done ASAP as I was moving at the end of May out of state. Owner said no problem and it would be done in a week. Needless to say it wasn’t done in a week and wasn’t done at the end of May when I was planning to move. It was finally done at 3 AM the day after I was supposed to leave and I drove it for .3 seconds before it broke again doing the same thing. Owner said he would have it fixed again at no charge and then tow it out to my new place. He didn’t show of course and promised he would be there the next week. He didn’t and then absolutely ghosted me. I had to have a friend go pick it up and it still wasn’t fixed. Paid $1700 for something that wasn’t fixed and another $1000 to have it shipped to me. Completely and utterly terrible choice to bring my vehicle here. Terrible experience, terrible service and unprofessional. Took my vehicle in for transmission issue and the manager told me to come back in two weeks. Two weeks turned into a month. I gave them money for a part they said they needed. I deployed and left contact information for any updates on the vehicle. No updates were given unless you called them. One year later and my vehicle was worse than how I left it. No timelines were ever met. When I went to pick up the vehicle, one of the mechanics was smoking in my vehicle while moving it for me to take it. They have an enormous amount of vehicles in their lot that I am assuming are waiting to get worked on. I saw tags from 2016 that was just sitting there! Do NOT use this company for anything they will string you along as long as you let them. Service: Transmission
