Jiffy Lube

Although this Jiffy Lube service station was shortstaffed the day I went for my state inspection, the staff was very pleasant and professional. It was a surprise to be awarded a free car wash coupon for having had a longer wait time.

Receptionist & mechanic supervisor were excellent. The technician working on my car barely could be rated as “underwhelming” I only required a vehicle inspection, they advised windshield wiper replacement. After inspection it was painful watching him slowly attempt to replace the wiper for 40 minutes. Upon driving away on a highway I realized the vehicle hood was improperly closed and had to pull off highway to correct this oversight.

Moral appears low, understaffed, prices have doubled or tripled since I worked there 23 years ago. Every time I go there, there is all new employees which is a sign they have never paid their employees a livable wage. I got paid $8.30/ hr and had to drain 130 cars a day average back in 2003. They keep employing kids in college to keep wages low. No more pizza for the lube techs on busy Saturdays. I only come here for yearly inspections and carwashes. No more free coffee in the waiting room. This business used to be the busiest lube facility in the world but I can tell having worked there for 3 years and seeing it now that its on a downhill slope. The lube techs are forced to upsell overinflated products with no sales incentive for the technicians other than keeping their jobs. No wonder everyone leaves. The carwash is the best but the people guiding the cars in get them in too close to each other which means the very real possibility of rear end accidents at the end of the tunnel wher
