Let me start off by saying the paint job on my husband truck is beautiful, Rod’s guys did a great job! Now the reason this is a two star review…. When we left our truck with Rod (August of 2020) we were quoted a new paint job would be anywhere between $8k - $10k which we agreed to. Fast forward to the end of April 2021 when the truck was finally done we were told it was $20k. Now the price doubling is one thing, everyday I am still trying to process it, but the part that got us SO upset is we were NEVER told the price sky rocketed. Now don’t get me wrong, I know the underside was eat up with rust and I know a lot of work went into sanding it down and painting than Rods team probably originally planned for BUT the fact we were never made aware of the price jump until the truck was done is where my problem lies. Bought a car that needed a complete moon roof replaced, including hardware and tracks. No one in town would touch it until I was referred to Rods. He gave me an estimate and as soon as I said yes, he pre-ordered everything and called when it came in. Replacement took more than he estimated and he charged me the estimated price.
