Mike's Auto Repair

The worst auto repair experience of my life. I Was promised by Susan that my overheated engine could be repaired. They did the work, around $5000. Susan called to tell me it was ready and “running like a top.” I arrived to find out the car had been towed (at my expense) to the dealership for diagnostic. Susan then demanded payment. I regrettably, and embarrassingly, paid her the $5000. I then called the dealership, they told me the engine was locked up, “wouldn’t even crank over.” The dealership told me that Mike's Auto gave no information, and the dealership had no recommendations as a diagnosis is impossible for a locked up motor. I called Mike's who gave me a new quote for a used motor with over 100K miles, and denied being at fault for ruining the 1st motor. Susan even stated "well, we fixed your head gasket." They placed the used motor in my vehicle for $2000, and when I test drove, it was frequently misfiring. Mike's reported that it would be another $1300 to replace the timing c

I’ve been to Mike’s Auto Repair twice. Once was for my alternator and to replace engine mounts. My car was able to be dropped off by tow and was able to receive it back within 48-78 hrs. The second time I scheduled to get a oil change, they were full, but made a slot for me to come by to get it done within my schedule and timeframe. They follow through on their word and take care of their customers! I’m very impressed.

I took my truck to Mike's a few weeks ago. They advised me it needed a multifunction switch and a headlight switch. Then they called me to tell me they had good news and bad news, they changed out the multifunction switch and said everything worked great until they changed out the headlight switch then they said nothing worked at all and even tried putting the old headlight switch back in and still nothing worked. They proceeded to charge me for just the multifunction switch which was $360something even though what they changed did not fix ANYTHING and said it was an electrical issue and they do not do electrical work. Not sure where the good news was in any of that? Then they referred me to another mechanic/company that did electrical work. So I took it to the other company and they fixed my truck for $283 and said it never needed the multifunction switch. I called Mike's to let them know and the lady said she would call me back.
