Valvoline Instant Oil Change

Great service and not too long of a wait. My coupon scan bar didn't work, but one of the guys who helped us got everything discounted and taken care of. Would definitely come back to this location next time.

Got there about 10 minutes after opening (8am) with 3 in the bay and 1 in line. I was out by 8:35 with a fresh oil change, loaded up tires and a new air filter. These guys were friendly, professional and fast. Top marks.

I took my Mercedes for oil change. They emptied the oil by using the sucker from the dip stick port. When I came home I found out that the oil was 1.5 inch above the maximum mark. I had the same problem several years back ( At that time they had filled 12.4 quarts instead of 7.4 quarts. They admitted their mistake). When I went back right away, they checked. They said they will drain at the bottom and measure. As a fool, I didn't watch them draining. He came upstairs and showed exactly 7.5 quarts. Then he filled that oil and the reading was perfect. First - they didn't suck oil with that port all the way and must have added 7.5 quarts. That means I have the mix of old and new oil now in my engine with that drain and refill. Second - They cheated when they drained. If the same amount of oil was removed and filled why would the oil mark went down on the dip stick. Physics doesn't lie.
