Pep Boys

Pep boys I was there for 6.5 hrs waiting to get winter tires put on rims and switched to my car. I got there at 9 am for my appointment (it opens at 9am). The assistant manager checks me in and tells me it is going to take 2-3 hours and then says 3-4 hrs. So as he was talking to me he was increasing the time. I went to check in on my vehicle after 5 hrs in the waiting room and they said half an hour. I didn't get my car for another hour and a half. I only knew my car was ready because I went outside and saw it. The technician never brought the keys in. If this was going to take so long they should of suggested I drop off the car instead of wasting my time. How is this acceptable? Something that should realistically take 1.5 Max? Andrew is very nice and patient but his staff are what brings this place down.

Pay the extra money and go to the valvoline next door. I came here for an oil change since i get discounts through Uber, it took them 3 hours to do an oil change. 3 hours no updates, and i had to go ask for my car. When i get my car back they didn’t give me the sticker telling me when to come back for maintenance and they also didn’t reset my cars dashboard so it still looked like i needed an oil change. Literally worst and most time consuming experience ever. (Only positive was the girl at the front desk who was super sweet and professional about it all. Amazing employee!)

Made an appointment online the night prior for a tire patch. A 15 minute job. When I arrived I was told that it would be at least 2 hours because they were busy. Why even take appointments if you can’t honor them. Not the employees fault their employer is using deceptive marketing to waste my time.
