Boston Auto Exchange is not professional and they will overcharge you. Do not trust this business. Read more below. I asked for help with my A/C so they charged me $125 to recharge the A/C refrigerant. My A/C stopped working within a couple weeks and I went to a different auto shop. Turns out my A/C was OVERCHARGED. Also, they found a leaky valve. I was charged $110 to resolve these issues. This is what professionals look like. Service: A/C installation & repair

STAY AWAY! Do not let them scam you. They overcharged me for replacing an alternator (390$). It was making a really squeaky noise and when I asked them about it, they said it would go away after a few miles. After 10 miles, my car breaks down on the highway with the alternator failing. They agree to replace it for free the next morning but in the afternoon, they call me and tell me they broke my idler pulley and that it's already been fixed. They charge me for the pulley which they broke and the labor to fix it. I never agreed to get it repaired and now I'm at $540 for the alternator and the pulley they broke. When I refuse to pay for the part they broke, they threaten to put my car in a mechanics lien and I would be charged for a holding fee every night. I was forced to pay with my credit card and the brother of the shop comes back to yell at me for not paying in cash. I leave the shop and my car breaks down again down the street. I bought 4 new tires from this station last week. Not only did the technician NOT balance any of the tires which we paid for and which he told me he had done, but he stripped the thread on one lug bolt which required the replacement of the hub wheel at a cost of over $900. I will not be returning to this station again.
