Westfield Tire & Muffler

I was referred to Westfield Tire and Muffler from Mears in Carmel. Couldn't be happier with the service, cost, and handling of my repair. I don't want to say old school but in a way it was. Made the appointment, dropped the car off, fixed it promptly and at a substantial saving. Strong recommendation for anyone needing exhaust, muffler....in my case a flex pipe. I contacted the shop to inquire about repairing a tire that was leaking. The shop informed me they could work in doing the repair the same day. When I arrived, the check-in process was fast, the car was promptly brought into the shop, and the leak in the tire was found quickly. The leak in the tire was shown to me. Westfield Tire & Muffler had no issue with attempting to plug the hole rather than replace the tire. There was quite a bit of tread left on the tire, so I was very pleased with their willingness to give plugging the hole a try. Past experiences tell me a lot of other tire shops would have immediately tried pushing to sell new tire(s). The shop installed an inside-to-outside style plug/patch. If a hole in a tire is going to be plugged, I believe this is currently the best type of plug/method that can be used. Time will tell if the plug holds up, but the shop has gained my trust for demonstrating they support what is in the customer's best interest. I highly recommend.
