I had my brakes, rotors and struts replaced. They did a great job.

I'm trying to get this story straight...I had to have my truck towed in, told them I was in no hurry. I started wondering about 6 weeks what was going on. He said I was next up, about a month went by. I called again the truck was almost done. Friends were saying why is this taking so long. I was really wondering what was going on. Come to find out the main mechanic had walked out because of jealousy and the others followed, so he had to run the place by himself. I found out about this when I picked it up. Because of the wait he waived ALL diagnostic tests and ALL labor for putting on a new wire harness. I didn't expect anything else but told him I would deal with him if I had some future work to do, he said he would even givee a discount in the future. I didn't expect that. The guy felt bad about the whole situation, I could see where he was coming from. Stuff happens and sometimes we have to be patient. Like I said I will be going to him all the time

If you had work done here previously, find your paperwork and don't expect this Aamco to provide your warranty information because they installed new software that conveniently purged your information concerning your warranty. 2. Do expect them to not believe you had work done nor acknowledge that you know what you paid them for the work. They'll say not number is impossible. Also no need to tell them that you ran the scan that 99% of auto shops use in the US and diagnoses the precise problem. They won't hear you. 3. Do expect your first quote to be really high and out of line with competitors because the next thing they'll tell you is that "They buy cars". Followed by "But of course it's not worth anything because it has no transmission". 4. Upon turning them down to do the work and not letting them steal your car, expect your real quote the next day. That's when they will drop their price by 35%. When you decline, they drop another 10% to within $200 of the pri
