Ron is the best! As a poor student who knows nothing about cars, I spent 2 weeks trying to find an honest mechanic in the Indy/Speedway area. After 12+ shops quoted me upwards of $500 for a solenoid replacement, Ron did it in an hour for $200. I am never going to a different mechanic, Ron has my business for life! Coming from out of town, we called late Saturday evening when our check engine light started flashing. Ron graciously agreed to check the car the next day. Even though it was Sunday and the garage was closed, he still came and ran diagnostics and giving us advice for the check engine light. I've been commuting between Indy and Bloomington five days a week with my job (more than 120 miles a day). My driver's side back brake light and left-turn signal light went out. I took the vehicle to Jiffy Lube in Bloomington (super nice group of people), but they said it wasn't just a burnt-out light bulb. They said my car would need some electrical work. This happened right at the July Fourth Holiday weekend (2021). I called the nearest dealership, and they couldn't make an appointment for me until August.
