Called for a quote on a loose ground I couldn't find that was keeping my crusty old truck from running, got a call back and Ed was able to tell me where to look over the phone and now I'm driving it home. Haven't even actually been in for any service and I can tell they're insanely knowledgeable and honest. I will come here for all of my future needs

There are so many good reviews I can only believe I must be an outlier in my experiences here... Spent nearly a grand replacing oil filter housing on vehicle. Returned a second time because issue was not solved. Later got a call asking me to pick up my vehicle saying they could not identify a problem and therefore could not fix it. Scheduled appt with dealer who told me there was actually a second oil leak and they were surprised it was not detected by Matthews. They then replaced oil pump to fix issue and stop leak. They may be a great shop but I think it only fair to consumers to share my experience. Not angry but I think more could have been done to 'make it right'.
