Jiffy Lube

Literally yelled at me to stop because they seem to think I was stupid enough to try straddling their open pit without guidance. The guide was slow to get up there, and I was simply inching closer to get prepared for him to guide me in. Not a fun way to begin the interaction. Then they tell me they can’t get my drip plate off. A previous Jiffy Lube had a domestic dispute occurring amongst staff during one of my last oil changes. This led to the drip plate coming loose while on the highway because they didn’t tighten it enough. Luckily, we didn’t get into an accident. We then went to our dealer to get the drip plate put back on. Needless to say, we went to Valvoline for our next oil change—they were wonderful, but a bit pricey so we made the mistake of trying to give Jiffy Lube one last chance. That chance lead to my experience today of being yelled at, only for them to tell me they couldn’t even get the drip plate off. So here I am, writing this while getting my oil changed at Valvolin

Fast of course. But, they recommended synthetic oil for my high mileage car, got the air filter changed and all fluids topped off. I’m good for 6000 miles now! Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Oil change

Got my oil changed here on a Saturday afternoon and they got me in right away and back out quickly. Now the bad stuff, it was $84 for a 2018 Escape. Even worse was that before I even made it back to my hotel, one screw had fallen out of the splash shield and the shield was sagging. By the time I got to work on Monday all four screws across the front had fallen out and the shield was dragging the ground. I managed to zip tie it up and drove back to Jiffy Lube after calling them. They half fixed it by replacing only three screws and left the fourth hole zip tied. No credit was offered, no coupon for a return visit, nothing. And as an added bonus the entire shield is installed inverted, the fuzzy side is supposed to be toward the engine and also isn't supposed to be hanging down.
