Writing this review after my VW Golf R's 2nd trip to Chicago Auto Center. The first time my car visited the shop earlier this year was due to a bad repair from a different speed shop in the area. With that in mind, I was a bit hesitant to bring my car to another shop. Demetri at Chicago Auto Center came highly recommended from one of my co-workers and after my experiences there I can see why. My car came in with loose motor mounts, an oil leak and an unusual intermittent whining noise. Demetri not only fixed all of the concerns I had with the car but found additional major damage caused by the bad repair that if not caught early would have meant a destroyed engine. In addition, Demetri worked with the other speed shop on my behalf to have them help cover the repairs. Meanwhile, the entire time my car was at Chicago Auto Center I received almost daily updates including photos and videos. The guys here are super honest and reasonable. I had brake, suspension and steering work on my Porsche. Not only were they able to get me in the next day they did it for almost 1/3rd of what the dealership wanted who wanted me to wait for 2 weeks with no loaner.
