The Autobarn Nissan of Evanston Service & Parts Department

Unfortunately, our experience with Autobarn Nissan was extremely disappointing and we will not be returning for future repairs. Our bill was ~$425 higher than quoted as a result of the poor communication and lack of transparency from the staff at Nissan. When we dropped off our vehicle, the Service Advisor did not clearly state the scope of work that was to be completed. He assumed we were OK with repairing the vehicle with new OEM parts even though we had previously stated in correspondence with the shop that we would like the repair to be completed with after-market parts. The difference in approach for repairs was not clearly stated nor were the financial implications. Additionally, in a follow-on phone call we authorized 2-hours of diagnostic labor for an ancillary issue. However, we were not informed on the call that 1 hour of diagnostic labor had already been completed. This further inflated our repair charges. This was my 3rd time coming to this Nissan autobarn! Vincent was so welcoming, and answered all of my questions before I could even ask them! In all 3 visits I have never recieved anything less than excellent customer service. Services: Transmission, Brakes, Wiper blade installation

Love them. The service is always on point and the staff is friendly and accommodating. Never have a problem here. I come for regular maintenance and the occasional car wash if they have time.
