Bethalto Star's going rate for a tow has been $80 for years. I called in April 2025 for a tow and they didn't mention a price increase. After the 3-mile tow was complete, they hit me with a $200 charge. I've since called around and find the going rate is about $100. I have also been told the shop is recently under new, absentee ownership.
I've had a reoccurring problem with my vehicle, and once it finally broke down and needed to be towed the guys at Bethalto Star fixed it.
