CARSTAR Universal Body Shop and Collision

I went to this establishment based off the reviews, it turned out to be a horrible experience and my vehicle was very late being completed. I was very patient with this business, very! The lack of communication was horrible. I was supposed to receive my vehicle 9-26 and didn’t receive it until 10-17. The initial person that was handling my body shop claim stopped working there and no one updated me, I had to call to get the information. They kept saying oh we are waiting for parts but the parts were in stock. The estimate clearly stated what parts should be used, A/M meaning after market. My car is common so there are plenty of parts available. They failed to communicate with the responsible party on getting the supplement in a reasonable amount of time. They called the police on me because I was going to take my car because they stated they hadn’t gotten approval which was a lie. I had every right to be irate. Great experience! After receiving, from another body shop, an estimate for almost $6,000 to repair some damage I had to my rear bumper and door, these guys (Carstar in Doraville) gave me an estimate for significantly less. I just picked up the car and am very pleased with the results. Everything looks great - even better than before the damage occurred. I worked with Justin A., who was very informative - he went over the entire estimate with me step by step Also, the receptionist (Fiona?) was extremely helpful and always pleasant! An outstanding job. Started on a Monday Car returned to me on a Friday of same week. I was astounded at the quality of workmanship Leaving no detail overlooked, my BMW was detailed. for a 6 yo X3 it looked brand new. My hat is off to these guys.
