SunCoast Auto And Tire

Took a 05 Camry in just before Christmas for a repair for a new vacuum switching valve and fuel vapor canister (mind you I already knew what the issue was). John and his "trusty technician" decided to try and pull the rug from under me by telling me I needed to pay $927.00 for this repair. He said ignition coils were misfiring (LIE #1) and he would not just repair the two parts I requested unless 3 ignition coils were replaced. On top of this, I ended up paying a diagnostic fee DESPITE me knowing what the problem was. I had to talk to the owner KEN but JOHN told me on two different days that he was not in (LIE #2 and #3). I was fed up at that point and fixed it MYSELF (I am not a mechanic) for $75. My family has spent THOUSANDS here and this is how I am treated. On top of all of this, they lost two screws for the intake manifold and left IMPORTANT COMPONENTS UNPLUGGED after the "technician" looked at my vehicle I found this all out by just observing the engine bay. I came to Suncoast as I needed a tire replaced and it was the closest tire shop to my house. I had 1 tire that needed to replaced and I already had the other tire to replace it. I called Thursday and they were able to work me in Friday morning. They made sure the other tire I had was safe to put on my car as I wasn’t sure if the rim was bent or not. They updated me throughout the whole process and got my tire switched out in under 15 minutes. It was the easiest experience I’ve ever had at a “car maintenance” business and for the first time ever, this shop wasn’t trying to take advantage of me/trying to get me to buy unnecessary things. Instead, when I went to go checkout, they told me I don’t owe them anything and to have a good day. The owner is incredibly nice and it’s clear he cares for his customers. This place is amazing!

Stopped by because the TPM light came on, turns out I caught a couple of nails on my rear tires late in the day and even though they were pretty busy but took care of my car quickly, very fairly priced as well. Will definitely be back for any repairs or maintenance my family or I may need in the future.
