Firestone Complete Auto Care

MUST READ.....The Mgr. Charlotte was nice & helpful. She prorated 2 Firestone tires that dry rotted & cracked she noticed I had the hazard tire insurance. I appreciate that from Charlotte. But the mechanic who did my wheel alignment put my new ties on the rear of my car and put my 2 old tires in the front of the car.I pick my car up drove 2 miles away put it inside my garage. Next morning I wake up the left front tire is flat. I take to nearby tireshop who removes the tire notice that the inside portion of the tire where the alignment machine is connected has torn the tire to shred with 12"jagged rip inside tire. You wil not see it on the outside of the tire. Tire shop says this is an alignment rip. ???? So I now buy another tire for the left front tire now. A week later the Right front goes flat take to tire shop because I'm stranded in the street the guy takes the right front tire off looks inside and notice a12" jagged rip inside This tire and says this is an alignment rip. Nothing impressive about the service. Compared to other similar I've had better and more friendly staff. Chose to have my tires because they offered an option no other shop did. They were just basic. But I got the basic job done.

I want to start off by stating i have been a loyal customer for 10 years. Today i called ahead in advance to purchase a tire and assure they have the availability and product, everything went well they told me they had the product and would set it aside for me. When i arrived they told me i could not just purchase just the tire that i needed to get it installed there. When I refused and then one of the other staff told me, yes i could purchase the tire if i paid in cash. I was pretty hesitate at first but needed the tire so went ahead and drove to the bank and came back. When i arrived back with cash the employee then told me "oh well you could but the taxes and fees on a credit card you just need to pay for the tire in cash". This was very unusual and raised a red flag but i was giving the employees the benefit of the doubt. When I go to pay for the tire they then tell me that they don't have any in stock.
