I took my car back after a repair a year ago woth the check engine light on and stating it was doing the same thing as before the repair. I felt they had done a great job and was happy to bring it back to the same place. My ac was also out. They stated everything was fine with the engine light and previous repair, and the light was a historical code they didn't clear before. I asked that would realy take whole year, yup. So I fixed the ac for 1500. Not even a week later the engine light comes back on the previous repair needs to be redone as well as nearly 900 worth of more work that I'm sure was needed when i brought it in last. I am angry because I am being told I didn't ask for the right assessments and it is my fault they didn't tell me there were existing issues before choosing which repair was made and now can not afford to make the mechanical vs comfort repair to my vehicle. I have a Velociraptor and I’m very particular with who works on my truck. In need of a new mechanic locally, a good friend recommended Mad Hatter. I stopped in and talked with them to make sure they were comfortable working on a Modified vehicle. After the conversation I felt completely comfortable with Ben working on my truck. Not exactly sure with what was going on and what was throwing all the codes on my truck and cutting the ac off, I was personally stuck between an electrical issue (wiring harness) and an ac issue.
