Pride Auto Care has been our trusted shop for 5 years. I always receive excellent service and I trust their assessment of what truly needs to be done to maintain my car.

My skid plate got worn out so that it came loose and started to drag on the ground. I took it in to Pride as it was the closest shop to me and I didn’t want to drive far. They were honest with me that I would be better off taking my car to Honda as they sold the parts. They also took off the plate for me so I could get there without it dragging, and they charged me nothing for all this. I’m due for some general maintenance soon, and this experience has made me want to choose Pride. It’s hard to find an honest mechanic, and I believe this to be one of them.

Took my jeep rubicon there to have the oil pump replaced when i was getting a code for the oil pressure. I told them it was the oil pump. They charged me over $200 to "diagnose" it. They insisted it was the oil sending unit. I paid $1800 for this "fix" only to have the issue return in less than 1k miles. I called and spoke to the manager ,telling him I am out $1800 and still have the same issue. And that it is the oil pump like I tried to tell them all along. He said he would talk to his jeep people and call me back the next day with what he thought they could do. That was a week ago and no call back. So I am out $1800 for nothing. Also when I was told my jeep was done from the first "repair" I picked it up with no gas left in it, valve caps missing from front tires. foot prints all over the front and rear bumpers, oil life not reset. nuts missing from brackets on the engine, hoses left unplugged, low coolant etc. This place is a joke.
