I scheduled an appointment online for an Oil Change with $29.99/- promo that the Firestone website offers for 11:30am today. Usually Firestone sends an appointment confirmation email but this time they didn't send any but I decided to go ahead anyway and see if it works out. Admittedly, I was there only by 11:50am (and not by 11:30am), so I let the store manager know that since I didn't get a confirmation from Firestone, which they usually provide, I was not certain if I should come in or reschedule. What he responded with is what really got me lost and befuddled, saying "since you did not come by 11:30am, we did not confirm your appointment and hence you'll need to wait for a couple of hours." !! Don't get me wrong, I acknowledge that I wasn't on time but the audacity to cover up for not sending a appointment confirmation by calling it my fault is what really disappointed me.
