This review is long overdue. I had found out that my 2015 Jeep Cherokee needed a new engine after the dealership found metal flakes were tearing up the insides of RJ engine. Knowing that the car market currently is terrible I went on a search to find someone to replace my engine since the dealership was asking over $15k. I had looked at places offering remanufactured (also called box) engines, but I was lucky enough to find Josh at Dettmer after calling 10+ other places. Josh was very knowledgeable and patient with me since I had a TON of questions. I came to know Valerie Dettmer via phone and she was super pleasant while also dealing with my questions and inquiries. The process took a bit, but it saved me several thousand dollars so I’ll take patience over money in this case. Thanks again for the phenomenal work!

I was satisfied with the work performed on the vehicle, but as a paying customer I would expect more communication from the shop. I was the one reaching out for updates every week for six weeks until the service was finished. Initially I was told it would only take two weeks, but that it was there a long time due to supply chain issues. However, that doesn’t support the lack of communication overall.

Friendly, fast, and honest about the car process. Never fail to check out this auto shop. Worth the time, effort, and most importantly vehicle longevity! A must for anyone wanting proper work.
