Jewell Auto Body and Paint

I had a minor accident in January of 2022, got into this shop February 26th 2022 and just yesterday July 1st 2022 got my car back fully. It has been seven months of displeasure. First up I was given no timeline on when things would be done. After calling for days I was told, late April. That's alright. I know parts are all on back order that seems reasonable. Then April rolls around and it turns into May 3rd as a pick up date. Then pushed back to May 7th. Then they call, saying the cosmetic parts had come in and that everything could be done by the 16th. No. All but nine of the parts had come in. I was still able to pick my car up, but the body work was sloppy and not well done. I just got my car back in the shop on July 1st with all the outstanding parts in and it was turned back around to me on the first. But after breaking my windshield and not even mentioning that to me and the parts that were put on sloppy not being fixed, I am done with Jewell auto body and would recommend it to

Seriously, who has a good experience with an autobody shop? Maybe 50% of people, at most. Not with Jewell Auto Body, just look at their reviews, incredible! I can honestly say that I had a phenomenal experience from start to finish. Ace towing made the tow process super easy. Their customer service was on point - super polite, timely, and efficient (thanks, Angel!). Their team of mechanics were knowledgeable, efficient, and honest (Joe G., I can't thank you enough!). They worked directly with my insurance and made a really stressful and sad situation not only tolerable, but pleasant. I can't thank the Lakewood team enough. I'll send all my friends your way.

I had an accident in Oct of 2022. I would not advise going through this shop with an insurance claim. My car went to their tow yard, Ace Towing. Even after authorizing them to start the repairs, my car sat in the tow yard collecting fees. Once they brought the car in after 30 days of sitting in the tow yard, work began a month after that. They tried to help but after a while they would say parts were not in, but tell the insurance adjuster something else. After 18k worth of billing I received a filthy car. My car was full of dirt and dust, my seats were covered in stains. It was the worst experience. If you are in an accident please go through a dealership or a shop that won’t take advantage of you. If you email anyone your emails will go unanswered. The staff was pleasant and tried their best but the experience of waiting 4 months for a car was pretty wild.
