WOW! It has been a while since I have experienced such personable, knowledgable, and honest folks. I hate calling them old school, because it is sad this level of customer service just isn't the norm anymore. Ok, so here's the deal. I bought a 2020 Audi Q5 a few months ago from a major dealership and discovered an oil leak. I took it back to their service center and was informed that the oil level sensor was leaking oil. They declined my request that they make the repair on their dime seeing as I had only put about 3k miles on it, but they did offer to fix it for what I thought was an outrageous amount. That brings me to Automotive Diagnostic Solutions in Lafayette. I call up the owner, Paul, and he suggests I drop the car off to have his technician, Rene, have a look before he can give me a quote. Rene wasn't able to get to it right away, so what does Paul do? He offers me a ride home in his car? Who does that any more?? I apologize for turning this into a novel. The end

I have been struggling to find a good mechanic that I could trust since I moved out here in September 2019. After many failed attempts at getting my car fixed from different mechanics, I found these guys who went above and beyond for me. They were able to tell me what was wrong with my car and fix the mistakes that previous mechanics had made. These guys treated me like family and were extremely helpful when it came to explaining my car issues to me. If you want great service and are struggling to figure out what is wrong with your car, these guys are your go-to people. I called Automotive Diagnostic Solutions because my car started making a pretty bad sound. I spoke with Paul and asked if there was any way they could listen to it and let me know if it was safe to drive until I could get it properly diagnosed and fixed. He said I could bring it in immediately and have René look at to see what was wrong. René was AMAZING! Not only was he able to quickly determine what the problem was, he was also able to figure out a work around so I didn’t have to spend over a thousand dollars to fix it. Furthermore, he did a thorough diagnostic exam and laid out all of my options for repairing the additional (but less urgent) problems. Keep in mind, my vehicle is 17 years old, so it definitely has some other problems that need attention. It was so reassuring to be given options about a game plan moving forward.
