Sam's Club Tire & Battery

Avoid this location for tires till they train the employees properly. 2.5 hours for a set of tires to be installed and I was the only customer there. At the end tires need to be reinstalled and rebalanced. The employee was honest that the weights could not be installed properly and upon inspection they fell off in the parking lot. I was given a $40 gift card for my time wasted but now I can't safely use the car and need to find a place to balance and install them. Horrible experience but I blame management for lack of proper training and using subpar stick on weights instead of proper lead clamp ons for balancing.

First off, I’ll say that this review is directed at this specific location and the Tire and Battery department, not all Sam’s clubs or other departments. I came in about a week ago and they price matched tires with Costco, and after I made my payment the technician, AJ, tried to order the Michelin Defender tires, their system wouldn’t allow him to. He tried to get with corporate over the next couple of days to secure a set from another location. Unfortunately, they couldn’t get them, but he was able to get me a comparable set and saved me some money. AJ also went above and beyond and talked with his supervisor and also got me a gift card for the inconvenience. If you ever need tires go here and ask for AJ.

They plugged my tire with an appointment. As a plus member it cost me nothing.
