I've been looking for months for a reputable and mom/pop shop for a long time that specializes in clutches. I've called around and couldn't get in for over 5-6 months or other places wanting over 7k to do the clutch replacement. I've done replacements of my clutch before on my nv3500 and it would always take me a long while until I could finish it and be at risk of hurting myself even with a transmission jack. I needed it done but at a reasonable price. I was told by a few friends who worked at Pickens Tech about Pro Tech Auto and after a quick phone call I was sold. Between under the price I was quoted to being able to come in as soon as they had an opening which was under a week! GT did great on my Dodge Ram and even fixed an issue with my exhaust leak I was planning on getting to eventually when I had time. Man $20,000.00 into a car that still leaks oil. My rear axle came detached from my vehicle at 40mph after they gave it the thumbs up. Then i had to pay more for that. They took no responsibility for anything. My total also grew by $5000.00 without me knowing. Rhey just added it on so at the end i was real surprised. Dont put yourself through what i went through just because protech pays for extra advertising. Youre better off going to grease monkey or something. Very dishonest company. They take no responsibility for the mistakes they make. Terrible morals as far as companies go. The owner wont even call me back. What a joke.

We had an issue with our car and we had tried to fix it on our own. When that didn't work we gave in and took it to a mechanic. When that didn't work either I started thinking the car wasn't worth the fixing but, I also didn't want to go through the hassle of selling and buying a new car. When I asked a few mechanics if they thought it was worth it to keep my car they said yes. I continued to take it to others until I found Pro Tech Auto. This shop was wonderful and everyone was friendly! Kelso, in particular, has been great! He was honest with us letting me know that it would be in our best interest to get a different car if possible. I appreciate the fact that he didn't try to fix anything that didn't need fixing and that he tried to help for the long run. Kelso has taken his time to truly help and didn't just offer a temporary fix. I would definitely recommend Pro Tech Auto and Kelso!
