Jim's Auto Body

I had a great experience at Jim's Auto Body. They fixed my car right up, replacing the back bumper and fixing the side panel, then painting to make it all match beautifully (which is tough with red). I used my insurance to get all this fixed. The process was easy and they communicated with me along the way. Leah A was really thorough with her evaluation and explanation of the repairs. You can tell they really care about the service they give and want to keep their good name. They will answer any questions you have. Highly recommend! PS they completed my car in less time than estimated as well.

This body shop is completely incompetent. I had a horrible experience there. I took my car in to get an estimate and was helped by Francisca H. She inspected my car and gave me an initial estimate, and I was told to come back in a month to drop off my vehicle. It was inoperable, so I was out of a car for that period of time. Once I brought my car in, a day later I was contacted and told they were not able to do the repairs, and that the inspector (Francisca) had made a mistake. The owner blamed the confusion on Francisca being "new", which is no excuse. This is not how you run a company and is completely unacceptable. Do not give this shop your money, do not trust them to do a decent job. There are many other places which will give you better service.

Are going to this place twice and it had a good experience both times. They accept cars after hours and have a Dropbox and call you probably in the morning asking for authorization to work. They are also able to consult with you around any insurance claims and out-of-pocket costs, making the final impact to you as little as possible. I'd recommend them for any make and model of car. They also offer a shuttle service to a rental car or locally within Walnut Creek or Concord.
