BNC Mobile Auto Repair

Steve and Rusty were awesome. They got my car in and fixed the same day. The shop is on the corner and I had to do a u-turn, but it wasn't too hard to find. There was a sweet dog named Jake too.

This shop was highly recommended to me, so I had my vehicle towed here when it overheated. I was called quickly and told that the water pump was bad which would cost $2700. I confirmed with another shop that this is the book rate. But given my vehicle’s water pump is on the back of the engine which is on the driver side because it is a front wheel drive vehicle and there was no leak coming from there it rather than the front of the vehicle near the radiator, I didn’t quite believe this assessment. I had it towed to another shop in El Cajon. Later that afternoon, I was called and informed that my AC condenser had a leak which had caused my condenser and radiator to be clogged with grime. This new shop replaced my AC condenser and my thermostat for $1000, and the car has been fine since. I’m not sure who did the assessment on my vehicle at BNC, but it appears that it was hastily done, and for as much as they could get away with. Luckily, I did not just immediately accept.
