Have been calling since yesterday to get a quote. Finally got someone to give me one, 715 dollars for an alternator to be replaced on a 99 DeVille. Asked how much the parts and labor were so... As follows 400 for the alternator 315 for labor which she said was a three hour job. Ok so an alternator with a lifetime warranty for this car is around 150. So 250 for markup on the part and 105 dollars an hour. SMH. So I say ok I will bring u the alternator then there is no warranty on work. ??? Ok don't think they could botch an alternator job, obviously the part can't be guaranteed by them. So I say ok when can I bring it in? We have no time till maybe next week .. There a Rip off. Not an honest shop avoid at all costs!!!
