Usually happy with using Universal. This trip was very disappointing. Brought in my CRV which has has MANY A/C issues that were worked on at Universal over the past 3-4 years. Told them I needed the AC fixed again as I was selling the vehicle. All they did was recharge the system (and smog test as requested by me). They had the vehicle for 2 days and they forgot to call me to tell me it was ready for pick up. Javiar told me the AC Compressor clutch might be seizing as it was making a loud nouse when the AC was turned on. But he made no mention about fixing it while it was there. I pulled out of their place, got on the freeway and the AC immediately was blowing HOT air. Called them when I got home to ask about how their warranties work as they replaced my entire AC system a couple years ago and the vehicle has hardly been used! They had the vehicle for 2 days and the air is not fixed! Yet I paid $165.00 for an A/C recharge which was not even the issue and didn't fix it! He said he would

I have not had a good experience. Their estimate was about 50% over what another shop estimated but Universal said they could have my truck fixed in 1 to 2 days so I went with them. It's been over a week and today they told me it would be another week. I will not be using them in the future and would not recommend them to anyone.
