picked up my car yesterday after it was there for an alignment .As soon as i got out on the street I heard grinding coming from the floor board. It happens on acceleration. Somebody who can't drive a manual transmission or drove it really hard or both did this. Noticed it right away. Sounds like a pressure plate scraping. Now I get to wait and see what happens. I have said before , and relatives also, that so often you pick up your car from here and something new is wrong now. A new noise , it rides different , or the radio stations are all messed up. Check engine light was on and code was for running lean. They “did a diagnostic test” and said it was the mag sensor. 600 dollars later it wasn’t even the problem. (Update) The operation manager will reached out to me to try and make things right. It put a bad taste in my mouth but if this part I ordered doesn’t fix the issue I might try and give them another shot.
