Callahan Auto & Diesel

We called Callahan to come out replace an alternator. We scheduled them to come out and they requested some additional information and provided pricing via email. We agreed to the pricing and when they came out to do the repair, they charged us an extra $100 on top of the quoted call out fee. When asked about it, they said the email was a typo. We asked them to honor the price they gave us and they refused. They said we were told via phone what the price would be, which we never were and we have requested that audio recording, which to date they still have not provided to show evidence of that conversation. They also claimed that we weren’t charged the “normal repair fee”, which only resulted in a $7.50 difference in what it “should have been”. While we fully understand and respect that typos and human error exist, it is up to the company to make it right for the customer, which Callahan has refused to do.
