We normally do our own maintenance & repairs on our vehicles, but when we started having more complex exhaust problems, we needed a professional. Shawn diagnosed the problem within a couple hours and gave a very detailed explanation of the tests that were run & how he came to his diagnosis. He sympathized with the cost we were about to pay & explained with great detail why it was so much. Other shops we called had lower prices, but just wanted to get us off the phone & wouldn't answer our questions about the quality of the replacement parts. AZ Auto Mechanix gave us an estimate of when the repairs would be complete & held to the delivery date. Shawn is honest, kind, and does amazing quality work for a fair price! There is a reason he has all 5 star reviews! He is worth every one and I would give him 6 if I could. He was referred to me and I drove over 40 miles just to work with him. I needed my fuel pump and fuel level sensor replaced on my Chevy Avalanche. Not only was his price great he did the work with OEM parts and very fast! I waited in his nice waiting room for a couple of hours while he did it. The truck has 215,000 and I know it needs other things done and he looked at it all without charging me and wrote up a great price to fix the other things. He even listed out what things he would do first based on priority and what things I could hold off on or even do myself. What mechanic does that? Shawn, that is who!
