The Auto Shop

This is the BEST mechanic, specifically for imports like Saab, Audi, etc. Stella, my Saab 95 linear is a 2003 and this shop is the only place capable of fixing her when she needs it. It's pretty far from my house so when the alternator went I tried a couple of shops close to home. The first said he could fix it until I brought her in, once he took a look he said he couldn't. The second shop I took her to was only a block away from the 1st. Not only were they terribly rude, they would only give me an estimate of $490 "if everything goes smoothly" which suggests an intent to charge much more once the work is done and have no choice but to pay. So I called the auto shop for an estimate. The owner answered the phone and gave me the exact price to replace the alternator and belt. Let us drop it off over the weekend, they said should be done on Thursday, had it done on Tuesday. Charged me the exact price they quoted on the phone. Terrible place to have anything painted. I brought in, off the car, a replacement rear bumper fascia to be painted. What I got back was a disaster. Dry spray on most of the finish and sags in other spots. When I picked it up from them the painter said I could buff the finish out myself. Well I did, some of it anyways, except the huge paint sags. Later I did bring the car back and the paint sags to their attention and was told the painter was gone and would call me back in a week (right). Well it has been over a week now. And over four hundred dollars spent at this place for sloppy work. I may have never bought a car here but I will never have anything painted here again.

If you own a Saab and you live in the Fox Cities then this is the place to go for service and to buy a Saab! Tony is honest and friendly! You are treated right and with respect. I've owned three Saab's and Tony has serviced all of them. He knows what he is talking about and is a no BS no up-sell kind of guy - you won't get sold on something you don't need and he'll tell you if you do or more importantly don't need something done.
